Continuous learning is one of the most important things to keep yourself evolving with fresh ideas, but it can feel impossible to find the time to sit down and take a course or read a book.

Enter podcasts, our favourite way of learning on the go. Digestible, free, and covering pretty much every topic under the sun, podcasts can be informative, inspiring and entertaining. We’re excited to introduce How I Made It Happen, our founder Elizabeth Ogabi’s all new podcast. To celebrate the launch, we’re sharing some of our favourite podcasts for at the gym, while you’re cooking, or when you’re bored on the Tube in the mornings.

Second Life

Second life podcast itunes

Second Life is a podcast spotlighting women who have had more than one career – in other words, a second life – and been successful in more than one of those careers. This podcast features an impressive lineup of women including Jen Atkin, Tamara Mellon, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Alba. During the episodes, host Hillary Kerr dives into all parts of the guests’ work journeys, from leaving high school to achieving success, so you really get to understand how these famous people got to where they are today.

How To Own The Room

how to own the room podcast itunes viv groskop

This podcast focuses on public speaking and how to make your presence felt when you walk into a room – and it’s particularly aimed at women. Hosted by Viv Groskop, who has written a book of the same name, women share how they’ve learned to own the room and get themselves the attention they deserve. We particularly liked the episode with Michelle Obama’s speech writer.

Techish

Techish podcast itunes

Techish is hosted by two millennials and tech founders, Abadesi Osunsade and Michael Berhane, who discuss all things tech, pop culture, current affairs and life in a very opinionated and entertaining way. If you want to stay up to date on the latest happenings in the tech world, from the decline of WeWork to Google’s acquisition of FitBit, this one’s for you.

The Pitch

The Pitch is an American export featuring entrepreneurs looking for funding for their ventures. Think Shark Tank – but in podcast form. If you run a business and are thinking about funding the near future, this is a great place to get inspiration and to hear the questions that investors are really asking.
