5 Things To Do Before 2018

Although the first day of the year is just another great day like the last day of the year, it is always good to reflect on the year as a whole. Here is a list of five things you should most probably do before the year is up.

    1. Write a gratitude list.

When the year starts to come to an end and we see so many people being thankful for xyz our initial response may be to compare. Don’t do it, comparison is the enemy of your peace. Instead, write yourself a gratitude list, a list of things that you are thankful for! The friends, the opportunities, good health and much more. Gratitude opens the door to positivity and also births a vision to want to attain more than you have already.

    2. Write a To-Done List.

I know, I know, another list but this one is with regards to your goals. Write a list of things that you did achieve and that you tried to achieve ( because tying deserves a pat on the back too).

    3. Have a clean out.

Clean out every corner of your life, the bedroom, wardrobe, your mind and even your circle. It’s symbolic of letting go of all the old things that you don’t need and moving on to acquire the new things if need be!

    4. Create a vision board.

Now, this doesn’t necessarily need to be done before next year because I personally like to do it on the first day of the year. However, it’s always a good idea to be one step ahead right? Whether you’re How to create an amazing vision board is digital or physical, post all the things you want to achieve in life and create the smaller goals to get there.

    5. Connect with everyone and say thank you.

Like the first point says have a gratitude list but this time put some names on it. List all the friends, colleagues and acquaintances that you have met this year. Who have impacted your growth in your career, business or life. Send them a short text or email, thanking them for their support in 2017. I guarantee you this will open the door to more opportunities in 2018.

What’s the first thing on the list you’ll be doing?
