Zukreat made her debut on YouTube back in 2011 where she created a bridal make up tutorial inspired by Kate Middleton’s wedding look. Within the last couple of years, there has been an increase in the so-called YouTube star or blogger. I am amazed to see the change in how women have become a symbol of empowerment through these platforms and inspirational figures to girls across the globe. It’s a good way to move away from stigmas such as being oppressed that deter women from being able to pursue their dreams.

        Zukreat was able to put her passion of hair and makeup into a business idea as she also created her own makeup line, ’Artist of Makeup’. The worst thing in life is having to wake up and do a job which you absolutely hate! So find something you enjoy and if you can’t find it, create a job that suits you!

        Zukreat has developed her craft for 14 years in hair and makeup. However she does not keep her talent and skills to herself. She shares her gift with others through her master classes which allow others to unleash their inner creativity and turn their passion into a business. Networking is a big thing within business which is constantly emphasised. Remember it’s not just about what you know, it’s who you know. Romana graduated with an undergraduate degree in English language from Sheffield Hallam University and then went on to do a Masters in Public Relations. She worked for two years in-house for a South Asian Fashion boutique where she wrote articles for the South Asian press and managed the brand of the company. Romana then moved on to be successful on the Taylor Bennett Foundation training programme which equips and supports individuals from ethnic diverse backgrounds to get into the PR and communications industry. Romana recently joined Flame PR because she enjoyed the opportunity to tap into the financial and tech sector. Alongside her PR duties she also works with the sales team to get new business for the agency.
