Most blogging websites will generally have a certain theme they focus on; travel, food, fashion, lifestyle, there are countless different topics. Some focus just primarily on the bloggers’ everyday life and the insights they have, others will be on topics such as technology or business; however, every single one of bloggers at some point will struggle to create content. It could be from writers’ block, but it can also be just from a lack of understanding on how to create content regularly that is also engaging.
here are some tips on how to create content for your blog:
Curation
A great way to never run out of blog topics or themes is to curate others content and utilise everything that happens around you. We all have our favourite bloggers, take a look at what they are writing about, is there a trend happening at the moment that you could also blog about? You should also ask your friends what they would want to read on a blog, your peers have a great insight into what is consumable and interesting β you should harness this and build blog titles around this research.
Guest Bloggers
When you are struggling to create your own content, an easy way to make sure posts are still being published is to utilise guest bloggers. Seeing their fresh ideas and writing styles can also help you with your own content creation in the long run. It is an effortless way to raise the number of posts on your blog; contact smaller blogs who would like to get a portfolio going and see if they would be interested.
Interview Someone
If you want to create a few posts, rich on content, low on time and that can be repeated again and again, then having guest interviews is a great way to do so. You will be able to meet some interesting people along the way, grow your network and have interesting posts that people will actively want to read. The only organic writing you will have to do are the questions, the answers are already there for you and this can be repeated for every person you interview.
Review something
Review posts are also a great way to create regular content for your blog. Any new products, trends, accessories, gadgets, recipes, etc, that are in market is a great way to fill a blog post when you donβt have much to write about. Your readers will appreciate your view on a new item and it will also pull you upwards in Google rankings when others search for feedback on that product.
Real-life experiences
Telling personal stories on your blog can be a great source of content; pulling on past experiences you have had can be a great way to keep your blog fresh and interesting; it can make your views more opinionated and because you have first-hand experience it can add some credibility too.
How do you keep your blog fresh and relevant to your readers? Let me know!
I love these tips! I totally garner inspiration from other bloggers so curating would be a great way to create more content. After all, if I love it, my readers are bound to as well, right?

I came across this just as I was about to write a blog post outline. I totally forgot about some interviews I did awhile back and now I think I’ll turn those into a few posts. How great is that? Thank you for these wonderful tips!
Hi Lisa, you’re welcome! Glad you found some of your interviews to use π

I really appreciate this. Lately my depression is making it really hard for me to do things worth blogging about, and even if I do, I can’t even begin to think how to write about it. I’ll definitely try these tips!
Glad it was of help to you π
