Mel Robins : How to stop screwing yourself over

Do you ever feel like the problem getting between you and your dreams is, well…….you? Join the club, we all feel like this at some point, and the scary thing is that it is probably you to some degree. Mel’s no nonsense approach, that metaphorically shakes you by the shoulders, will give you a wake-up call! She will give you the warning signs to help you to stop self-sabotage and give you coping strategies to turn it around. You will feel motivated by her talk to push yourself out of the way and move onwards and upwards.

Andy Puddicombe : All it takes is a mindful 10 minutes

Delivered in under 10 minutes, Andy Puddicombe is the master of mindfulness. If mindfulness is new to you, then I would recommend you watch this and make it part of your daily routine. I attended a two day mindfulness course in 2015 and it has transformed my morning routine. Andy discusses and teaches you how to become mindful and how it will have an amazing positive effect on your life; from clarity to a boosted immune system, mindfulness will have a big impact on your motivation day to day.

Amy Cuddy : Your body language shapes who you are

No Ted Talk list would be complete without Amy Cuddy’s revolutionary power pose talk! With over 32 million views, I am not alone in thinking this is the number one motivation talk to get you raring to go. Amy teaches us how our vocal cues are important, but our physical ones are even more important; being able to handle your stance when meeting someone, handling confrontation and when presenting are powerful tools you need to learn. So go out there, power pose away and see how it could transform your interactions with others.

Dan Pink : The puzzle of motivation

This Talk is funny, uplifting and with plenty of entertaining stories. Dan Pink, a career analyst turns the theory of traditional rewards (such as money) on their head; a fascinating talk about different motivators that may work for you, you could just unlock the key to your motivation and learn your pressure points – this is great news to boost your self-motivation.

Elizabeth Gilbert : Your elusive creative genius

Nothing is more of a motivation killer than feeling like you can’t do it because you aren’t clever enough. While you most certainly are, we all sometimes feel like we are imposters and are ‘winging it’ at things. Rather than putting all of our emotions and hopes onto geniuses around us, Elizabeth Gilbert’s Talk tells us that we are all geniuses in our own right. Start owning this fact and discover your genius trait; from the author of Eat. Pray. Love this talk will leave you smiling and feeling like you can conquer the world.
