We all get to that time in our lives when everything just gets too much, both work and personal lives, till we just burnout.

Burnout- “A state of emotional and physical exhaustion caused by a prolonged period of stress and frustration”
Here are the best ways to avoid and deal with them:

Make a timetable

It sounds very high school-ish, but it’s a fantastic way to prioritise your time effectively. Knowing what needs to be done and when leaves less pressure on your mind as you know everything is accounted for. Including your coffee breaks! This technique is even better with colour and fun apps!

Prioritise

What needs to be done urgently and is time sensitive? Making a list, putting these tasks in order from most urgent to least is great as it allows you to visually see what needs to be done. A priority could even be just catch up on much-needed sleep!

Bin the negativity

I’m sure you’ve heard this cliché daily, but it genuinely works. Get rid of the negative people as their attitude brings you down. Surrounding yourself with hardworking, driven, positive people reflects on you and you emulate this.

Get Social

As much as you love your job, we all need social time. Perhaps a movie night with your partner, or a few cocktails with the girls, it’s a great way to chat your troubles away as well as distract you from the stress!

Just follow these simple steps to avoid the dreaded burnout!
